Jelly Roll Rug2 (Squared) Pattern by Roma Lambson of RJ Designs

Designed to be the simpler sibling to the original Jelly-Roll Rug ( RJD100), this easy-to-sew pattern is suitable for quilters of all skill levels! Forget making tricky stitches around tight curves, Jelly Roll Rug2 only requires straight seams. To make this ravishing rug, you will need a Jelly-Roll (for example, Moda Fabrics Jelly Roll bundle which consists of 40-42 pieces of 2.5 x 42 strips) and 100% cotton batting. Our favorite option for this pattern is Bosals Katahdin On-A-Roll (item: BO390K75 ). If you don't have a pre-made Jelly Roll bundle, you can also create your own strips.

Note: You will need a sewing machine that will make at least a 5mm wide zig-zag.
